Lets talk about the new CD My Name is Jimmie. It is a very much diversified album.  This album goes from Rap to Ballad, Southern Rock, Country and Gospel.  Thats right people I did say Gospel. One of my favorite  songs on it is called Backwoods Preacher Man. You got to hear the backup vocals on it. Whoever put in the backup is strictly GENIUS. By far the BEST backup vocals I have ever heard on any one song Thats what I'm talking about. You would swear by listening to this song that you was at a Southern Gospel Revival but done Van Zant style. Another one and probably by far my fav is Woke up this Morning, believe it or not Jimmie has found a way to put contemporary rap into this song to make it come out  PERFECT. King of Nothin is a Ballad that any one out there who has been in a relationship can identify with. Watch out for the Redneck Revolution and if you want to find out more about it just tune it to your Redneck Radio Station. Saving Grace shows a more serious side of Jimmies voice and got a LOT of HEART put into it. The rest of the songs that round out this album include Ray Rays Juke Joint, 100 Proof,  Spit Cup, Reason and they also throw in a couple of cover songs to magnify the bands versatality, and what little album from a Southern Boy wouldn't be complete without a sweet LITTLE rendition of Dixie. I would liken this album to Kid Rocks new album Rock and Roll Jesus, you don't really know how much diversity Jimmie and his band have until you sit down and listen to this album. It is a MUST for any music lovers collection
